Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Industrial Maintenance Lab at the Jackson County Learning Center!

This achievement is the result of a partnership between Vincennes University, JCIDC, Jackson County Education Coalition, and the Community Foundation of Jackson County. We are grateful for the support of Seymour Redevelopment Commission, Aisin, Cummins Seymour Engine Plant, and Valeo who provided matching financial support for the READI grant.

This facility is a critical addition to our community, providing classes for those looking to develop skills and pursue career opportunities in the industrial maintenance field. Basic electrical and mechanical classes are scheduled to begin next week. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact that the Jackson County Learning Center will have on our community for years to come.
